The park
The park blends seamlessly with the historic farmhouse, which boasts three centuries of rural history, forming a single setting of cultural and environmental harmony. Across 20 hectares of olive groves, hazelnut groves, junipers, pines, holm oaks, flowers and plants of all kinds, you can lose yourself in the lush greenery. Most of the park can be explored on foot along the various paths, enjoying spectacular views of the valley and Assisi at any time of year, from the charm of the autumn mists to the vibrant spring and summer colours of the broom and other fragrant plants. You may come across a small roe deer or spot squirrels, and even catch a glimpse of little owls or scops owls. Or admire the sky and the stars from the terrace, in silence. You can also go trekking or cycling along the trails. Furthermore, in October and November, you can witness the olive harvest, which produces an excellent Umbrian PDO and organic olive oil, certified by the relevant authorities, to be tasted on site.
